product care
Remove your tights and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.

No sweat rain pants

"First pair of rain pants that don’t cost $300 that breathe and keep you relatively dry. I rode for about an hour and a half in a decent rain and only my knees felt slightly damp, but I was not soaked through and I was not sweating from the inside. I wore a pair of bike shorts underneath. This was in Seattle. It was probably about 55°."

Hydro pants

"I haven’t worn them yet. They are made for cold weather so I know I will water them in the fall. I was hope for more of a rain pant for cooler summer weather. But I’m sure they will be great for the fall."

Q&A

Questions & Answers

The ADV Endur Hydro Bike Pant does not include a chamois. It is a protective overpant designed to layer over cycling shorts or bibs that already carry the chamois, with a reinforced crotch panel added for durability rather than padding. This matters because you keep the saddle comfort you already trust underneath while adding wind and wet protection on top. If you want an all-in-one tight with the chamois built in, the Coolweather Bike Tight or Thermal Bike Tight would suit you better.

The ADV Endur Hydro Bike Pant is windproof and water-resistant, with a polyurethane middle panel that sheds wind chill and wet conditions. It is not a sealed waterproof garment, so it performs best in wind and wet-but-not-downpour conditions rather than sustained heavy rain. If most of your riding involves prolonged, soaking rain, a fully waterproof option like the Lupra GORE-TEX Bike Pant gives you more complete protection. For variable all-weather riding short of a steady downpour, the ADV Endur Hydro covers you well.

The ADV Endur Hydro Bike Pant is built for endurance and adventure riders logging longer, exposed routes who want a windproof, water-resistant outer layer over their regular kit. Its ADV Endur framing, full-length coverage, and ventilating polyester panels are oriented toward sustained distance in changeable conditions. If you already own chamois shorts or bibs and ride in wind or wet weather where protection matters mile after mile, the ADV Endur Hydro earns its place as the weather shell in your cycling wardrobe.

Yes, layering over your existing kit is exactly what the ADV Endur Hydro Bike Pant is designed for. It functions as a protective overpant, so you wear it on top of cycling shorts or bibs that provide the chamois. A Velcro adjuster at the bottom leg secures the opening over your other layers, keeping the fabric from flapping while you ride. This approach lets you add wind and wet protection to the saddle setup you already know, rather than committing to a single all-in-one garment.

The ADV Endur Hydro Bike Pant focuses on wind and wet protection rather than thermal insulation. Its windproof construction reduces wind chill and the polyester panels ventilate well in variable conditions, but it is not a brushed or fleece-lined thermal garment. If you ride in genuinely cold or sub-freezing temperatures, a dedicated thermal tight such as the Thermal Bike Tight or Winter Bike Tight will serve you better. The ADV Endur Hydro suits riders whose main concern is exposure to wind and wet rather than deep cold.

Both are full-length weather-protection pants, but they target different levels of wet exposure. The ADV Endur Hydro Bike Pant is windproof and water-resistant, ideal for wind and wet-but-not-downpour conditions over longer, exposed rides. The Lupra GORE-TEX Bike Pant uses a sealed GORE-TEX membrane for fully waterproof protection in sustained, heavy rain. If your riding regularly involves prolonged soaking, choose the Lupra; if you want a ventilating, water-resistant shell for changeable weather, the ADV Endur Hydro is the lighter-committed choice.

The ADV Endur Hydro Bike Pant is built for wind and wet protection, not warm-weather sun coverage. It layers over your kit as a weather shell, which is more than you need on a sunny ride and lacks the lightweight, UV-focused construction a hot-weather garment requires. If you want full leg coverage for sun protection in warm conditions, the Soleil Bike Tight is the better fit, offering lightweight UPF-rated coverage designed for riding in the heat rather than against the elements.

The ADV Endur Hydro Bike Pant falls in the 9-inch-plus length category with a full-length cut and a 28.5-inch inseam. A Velcro adjuster at the bottom leg lets you cinch the opening over your shorts or tights so the fabric stays secure and out of your drivetrain. This adjustable, full-length design means the pant sits cleanly over your existing kit, giving endurance and adventure riders dependable coverage and a settled fit through longer, exposed outings.
